WINS TOP AWARD at film festival!
We are happy and proud to announce that the film by Yadubaraand Visakha and devotee crew, has walked away with the top award at the film festival in Sedona - Illuminate Film Festival,
the Grand Jury Award!
The Illuminate Film Festival is running in its fourth year, and features only films with spiritual themes. To win, a film must be premiering that year, either nationally or internationally, as was the international premier of their film.
It will become very apparent to the future viewers of this film, that the film crew was amazingly empowered by the Supreme Personality of Godhead to properly portray His pure devotee. As the person who composed the original musical score for the movie said on stage today, "This movie had me showing tears throughout
the film."
"We were more than honored and humbled to offer our services to facilitate the stay of nine members of the film crew during the film festival this week, here at the Vedic Ranch near Sedona", said Dasarath das, project director of the Sedona Center of Vedic Culture. "It will blow your spiritual mind. Words cannot describe how good this movie is. It is - Srila Prabhupada himself, in all his spiritual majesty."
This is just the beginning of Srila Prabhupada's world tour, in the form of the movie HARE KRISHNA, in which he is so wonderfully featured.
We think that devotees can look forward to hearing about more film awards being bestowed uopn this movie, as it journeys all over the world.
